Hagland Shipping is boosting its fleet of small bulkers with a purchase of am eight year old vessel from JR Shipping.
The Chowgule built 4,700-dwt Estime (built 2011) was purchased for an undisclosed price and will be converted to a self-unloading bulker.
The ship, which will be renamed Hagland Carrier, is believed to have a value of $4m to $5m today.
