Eco Carriers Maritime — a Greek company that has remained low key since setting up shop in Piraeus a few months ago — has bought a second supramax in one of several deals in which well-established Greek firms have shed older units to compatriot newcomers.
The firm has agreed to buy the 57,700-dwt Krania (built 2010) for $10.8m, according to market sources in Athens and London.
