Great Eastern Shipping, India’s largest private sector shipping company, has continued with its clear-out of older tonnage.
The Mumbai-listed shipowner has confirmed the sale of the 52,179-dwt Jag Ratan (built 2001) to an unnamed third party.
Great Eastern did not disclose whether the ship would be going for further trading or for scrap.
