John Fredriksen-backed Golden Ocean Group has ended its relationship with Capesize Chartering Ltd (CCL), the joint-venture pool between four major bulker owners.
CCL coordinates the spot chartering services for capesizes owned by Star Bulk Carriers, C Transport Maritime, Bocimar and Golden Ocean.
It was founded as a joint venture in early 2016 to help the companies achieve commercial scale at a time when bulker markets were depressed.
