Dry bulk shipowner Globus Maritime has bought its third kamsarmax bulker in the span of just a few months.
The move provides more evidence of the gusto with which US-listed shipowners have been investing in the sector on the back of improved freight rates and fuelled by cash raised in share sales.
For Globus, the deal nearly doubles the company's fleet capacity in just five months.
