German shipmanagers Bremer Bereederungsgesellschaft (BBG) and Harren & Partner (H&P) have merged management of their bulker fleets.
The resulting company, Harren Bulkers, will manage a fleet of 23 dry bulk carriers with a total capacity of 1.8m dwt, and the companies aim to expand and strengthen their presence in the bulker market over the long term.
“BBG and H&P see great potential,” said Peter Gronwoldt, managing director of H&P.
