Genco Shipping & Trading is expecting to capitalise on big rate rises for its bulkers in the first quarter.
In an update, the New York-listed shipowner said its estimated time-charter equivalent earnings in the first three months stand at $11,700 per day for 95% of its available days for owned vessels.
The figure is based on both period and spot fixtures, and includes scrubber premium.
