Capesize rates have swung drastically within the agonising clutch of Covid-19, but a falling paper market may tame such volatility until the end of the year, analysts say.
The weighted time charter equivalent (TCE) average for the big ships have ranged from $2,394 per day on 15 May to as high as $34,896 per day on 6 October, according to Baltic Exchange assessments.
