Taiwan's First Steamship has thrown its lot in with the growing Baumarine by MaruKlav pool, a Torvald Klaveness and Marubeni joint venture.
The company is contributing its 82,000-dwt bulker Ever Best (built 2013) to the operation.
First Steamship said: "We look forward to developing a close relationship with Baumarine by MaruKlav where the combined expertise from Klaveness and Marubeni has the potential to provide opportunities for higher earnings and greater flexibility towards her upcoming drydock in May."
