Japanese owner Far East Shipping & Trading has contracted two new bulkers at a domestic yard.
Brokers said the Tokyo company has signed up for 37,000-dwt open-hatch ships at Saiki Heavy Industry.
Delivery is set for 2019, but no price was given.
Far East has nine other open-hatch and conventional bulkers.
It has no other newbuildings listed.
