Mexican ship manager Gremex Shipping has been fined in the US over waste dumping from a cement carrier.
The company pleaded guilty at a federal district court in Florida in a case involving the 13,200-dwt Suhar (built 1985).
Gremex admitted creating and providing false records to the US Coast Guard to conceal its illegal discharge of oily bilge waste into the ocean.
