Expanding Hong Kong bulker owner Cetus Maritime has announced the takeover of a long-standing partner in Australia.
The handysize company has acquired owner and charterer Rhumb Maritime, which will become Cetus Maritime (Australia).
No financial terms were revealed for the deal.
Cetus was formed in 2023 by a merger of Asia Maritime Pacific (AMP) and Hamburg Bulk Carriers.
