EuroDry is selling one of its oldest panamax bulkers amid slipping values in the dry bulk sale-and-purchase market.
The Aristides Pittas-led shipowner announced on Monday that it will offload the 74,020-dwt Pantelis (built 2000) for $9.7m. The ship, which was built at Tsuneishi Shipbuilding in Japan, has no scrubber but is fitted with a ballast water treatment system.
The deal comes as bulkers of this vintage have seen their values erode in recent months.
