Eight stowaways have been taken from a cargoship in Ireland after making the crossing from France.
The Herald reported that the men, believed to be Albanian, had made themselves known to crew on arrival in Belview Port, Waterford, on Wednesday. The vessel was not named.
The men were hungry and cold, but otherwise well.
