Greece's Eastern Mediterranean Maritime (Eastmed) has sold its oldest and smallest bulker to a steadily growing Ukrainian handymax specialist.
The 45,500-dwt handymax Glyfada (built 1995) fetched more than $4m in a sale in late November, several brokers reported.
The ship, constructed by Tsuneishi Group's Tadotsu Shipbuilding, was by far the oldest unit in Thanassis Martinos-led Eastmed’s mixed fleet of more than 70 managed vessels on the water.
