Japan’s Doun Kisen has returned to its favourite shipyard in China for bulker newbuildings.
The Japanese tonnage supplier has contracted Nantong Xiangyu Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering to build two 40,500-dwt handysize vessels.
A newbuilding source familiar with Nantong Xiangyu confirmed the deal, stating the contract was inked early this year.
