Diana Shipping has fixed one of its newcastlemax bulk carriers to C Transport Maritime for around a year.
The 179,134-dwt PS Palios (built 2013) has been chartered to the Monaco-based company for 13 to 15 months, which commenced on Tuesday.
The vessel has been fixed at a gross daily rate of $6,000 per day for the first 35 days of the charter and $12,050 per day for the rest of the period, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties.
