Diana Shipping has fixed a kamsarmax on a period charter to Athens-based bulker operator Aquavita International at a slightly firmer rate than comparable fixtures reported this month.
The New York-listed owner fixed its 81,513-dwt Astarte (built 2013) to Aquavita for 14 to 16 months.
The kamsar will be earning $11,750 per day during the charter, minus a 5% commission, which will generate around $4.94m
