Diana Shipping has joined the growing club of bulker owners investing in methanol as it ordered two dual-fuel kamsarmax newbuildings, marking the first time it has placed an order for a new ship in almost a decade.
The New York-listed shipowner has signed a letter of intent to order the two 81,200-dwt bulkers through Japanese trading house Marubeni for $46m per ship.
