A bulker sold by US-listed Diana Shipping appears poised to wind up in the hands of shipbreakers.
Scrap brokers said the 164,000-dwt bulker Norfolk (built 2002) is headed for recycling after the Greek shipowner announced last week that it had been sold to an unaffiliated and unidentified party for $9.35m.
TradeWinds is told that Norfolk was sold as is in Singapore for $398 per ldt, or $9.53m.
