Diana Shipping has continued chartering one of its kamsarmaxes to Cargill International for at least another 15 months.
The Semiramis Paliou-led company has fixed 82,131-dwt Myrto (built 2013) through June 2021 at $10,000 per day.
New York-listed Diana Shipping, which has 41 bulkers, expects to make at least $4.48m off the charter.
The owner previously fixed the ship to Cargill for nine months and has six other vessels — two panamaxes, a kamsarmax, a post-panamax and two capesizes — chartered to the Swiss trader.
