A merger between CMB.Tech and Golden Ocean Group looks increasingly inevitable after the Belgian company lifted its stake in the Norwegian bulker owner again.

A US securities filing revealed the Saverys family-controlled shipowner now has a 49.4% holding in US and Oslo-listed Golden Ocean.
