Denmark's Clipper Group is shutting down five Clipper Bulk offices worldwide as it focuses on efficiency.
The shipowner said the move will simplify its operational and administrative set-up in its most important sector, dry cargo.
The operation will be centred on Copenhagen, Houston and Hong Kong, with Barranquilla, Tokyo and Nassau also staying open.
But offices in Stamford, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Singapore and Beijing will close.
