London-listed Taylor Maritime Investments (TMI) is selling off its oldest bulker in a bid to improve fleet efficiency.
The Ed Buttery-led owner is offloading the 33,800-dwt handysize Nong Lyla (built 2004) for $11.6m.
The buyer is an independent leasing and financing platform.
The leasing company will then sign a bareboat charter deal with a group of investors including Buttery’s father Chris Buttery, a TMI director.
