A Chinese crew member has been imprisoned in the US as part of a bulker pollution case.
US Attorney Duane A Evans said Fei Wang, 38, pleaded guilty to violating environmental laws on the 82,000-dwt kamsarmax ASL Singapore (built 2012) in February last year.
The chief engineer also admitted obstructing proceedings.
