China’s imports of logs reached another record high last year, according to consultancy Wood Resources International (WRI).
This was the third consecutive year of year-on-year increases, with 2018 volumes being up 37% from those seen in 2015.
Over 40m cubic-metres of logs were landed at Chinese ports last year, WRI says in its Wood Resource Quarterly.
