China has given no word of lifting its ban on Australian coal but vessel-tracking data shows ships are offloading the commodity there, reportedly as an act of "goodwill" by the country.
Data compiled by bulker-tracking platform Oceanbolt indicates that three ships have discharged the fossil fuel in China as of Wednesday, after waiting offshore for months at Jingtang.
The three vessels identified by Oceanbolt comprise two post-panamax bulkers — the 95,500-dwt Double Delight (built 2015) and the 93,700-dwt Flourish Power (built 2012) — and the 76,500-dwt panamax Hong Hing (built 2010).
