Singapore's Nova Shipping & Logistics has ordered two new chip carriers at Chengxi Shipyard in China.
Brokers said the 64,000-dwt bulkers will be delivered in 2019.
No price was given for the vessels.
Nova's fleet of 17 operational ships is dominated by chip carriers, but it also has LNG carriers and tankers.
The two new vessels bring the series at Chengxi to four units, all due in 2019.
