Castor Maritime has taken its sale-and-purchase spending in the first few months of 2021 to more than $100m with the acquisition of its fourth kamsarmax this year.
The shipowner said it has just spent $15.45m on the purchase of a 2010 South Korean-built bulker from an unnamed third party.
The Cyprus-based company said it expected to take delivery of the unnamed vessel within the second quarter of this year.
