Capesize spot market subdued as market sentiment turns bearish in ‘rollercoaster’ week

Continuing the market comedown that began the week, capesize bulker rates appear to have been muted towards the end of the week.

The past couple of days have seen prices almost plateau, following last week’s highs. Average capesize spot rates on the Baltic Exchange are currently at $22,190 per day, seeing a minor overnight drop and a 3% slip from Monday.
