Sticking to its established strategy, Turkey's Canbaz family has made its third purchase of a Hakodate Dock-built vessel in five years.
Istanbul-based handysize specialist Canbaz Shipping has emerged as buyer of the 34,500-dwt Dream Island (built 2015), which brokers reported sold at the end of June by Japan’s Shikishima Kisen for a little above $18m.
The deal was arranged by Io's Shipbrokers, Canbaz Shipping’s exclusive broker for sale-and-purchase and commercial fixtures.
