Wednesday has seen some of the highest interday increases in capesize freight rate assessments seen in as many as 10 years.
It would also seem that capes in the spot market are no longer being fixed at loss-making levels.
Capesize earnings rose by an incredible $4,250 on Wednesday and were assessed at $19,036 per day.
