BW Dry Cargo came close to an asset-play deal on another kamsarmax bulker, but buyer has failed to finalise the transaction.
The BW Group-controlled shipowner struck a deal the 83,000-dwt bulker BW Barley (built 2010) for $15.5m to Scandinavian interests, brokers reporters.
The deal, which was still subject to closing conditions, involved a two-year charter back to Singapore-headquartered BW Group at $11,000 per day.
