Chinese shipowner Jiangsu Ocean Shipping has reportedly ordered its first newbuildings since 2018 with contracts for a quartet of ultramax bulk carriers.

Chinese newbuilding sources said that the order for the four 64,000-dwt bulk carriers has been split between Nantong Cosco KHI Ship Engineering (NACKS) and Dalian Cosco KHI Ship Engineering (DACKS).

The vessels are all scheduled for delivery in 2022.
