A Greek bulker has suffered mechanical failure off Greece and is and is now under tow.
The 32,000-dwt handysize bulk carrier Aeolos (built 2001), which is controlled by Alexandria Shipping, is fully laden with a cargo of steel products with 23 crew onboard.
The ship's rudder has somehow become damaged, causing the crew to lose control of the ship while sailing southeast of Athens, spokeswoman Alexandra Eleftheriadou told TradeWinds.
