Greek owner Bright Navigation has fetched a firm price for an 18-year-old panamax bulker. Sources say the Imabari-built 72,000-dwt Maroulio S (built 1999) has gone to a Chinese buyer for $6.3m. The ship is due for drydocking in August.
The Maroulio S was put up for sale in June last year and inspected in Piraeus. The ship was expected to fetch between $3m to $3.5m.
