Norwegian investor and tanker owner Arne Fredly has made a move into bulk carriers with the acquisition of six ships from Greece's Pioneer Marine.
Shipping databases show his Apollo Asset company as the owner of a fleet of handysizes built between 2007 and 2012 in hot markets for handysizes.
Records show that all six have been acquired this year, with the last three being delivered in October.
