Struggling ABG Shipyard has suffered another blow after its ship-operating licence was revoked.
The Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) withdrew the document of compliance for its PFS Shipping unit, the Hindu Business Line reported.
The DGS said this was due to “repeated violations” of ISM requirements and the non-payment of crew wages for months.
PFS owns three offshore support vessels (OSVs) - two anchor-handlers and a supply ship.
