Norway's Aasen Shipping is renewing its fleet with an order for the world's first hybrid self-discharging bulkers.
The company has signed up for two 9,300-dwt ships at the Royal Bodewes shipyard in the Netherlands.
The vessels will use engine and battery technology from Finnish group Wartsila.
