2020 Bulkers has finished the third quarter in the black, marking its fifth consecutive quarter of profit since taking delivery of its first vessel in August 2019.

The Oslo-listed shipowner, which has an eight-vessel fleet of newcastlemax bulkers, reported net profit of $4.8m for the period, which equated to earnings of $0.21 per share.

In the same period last year, the bulker owner posted profit of $800,000, when its operating fleet consisted of just two vessels and while its six further newcastlemaxes were still under construction.
