A potentially explosive Russian fertiliser cargo that was at the centre of months of international monitoring and scrutiny has at last reached its destination in West Africa.
The cargo of 20,000 tonnes of ammonium nitrate reached the port of Abidjan in Ivory Coast on board the 37,300-dwt Zimrida (built 2008) this week, according to a report by the Great Yarmouth Mercury in the UK.
