Brokers are divided on the accuracy of reports that Navios Maritime Holdings has sold one of its oldest bulkers.
Some US and European shipbroking sources say the Angeliki Frangou-led company has sold the 52,000-dwt Navios Herakles (built 2001) to a Chinese buyer for $9m, slightly more than the $8.4m estimate by VesselsValue.
Other brokerage sources say chatter around the vessel is inaccurate and no transaction is in place.
