New details of Yang Ming Marine Transport’s deal to charter 10 neo-panamax boxships from Costamare and Shoei Kisen show the terms to be good for both the owners and charterer, according to shipbuilding sources.
As TradeWinds reported last month, New York-listed Costamare is said to have been selected as the preferred party to supply five of the 12,000-teu newbuildings sought by the Taiwanese liner company.
