Taiwan's Wan Hai Lines has picked up two Taiwanese-built veterans of the Hanjin fleet.
Wah Hai has paid a price disclosed only as "less than $12.5m" each for the 1,805-teu Sao Paulo and Ho Chi Minh (ex-Hanjin Sao Paulo and Hanjin Ho Chi Minh, both built 2008) from Japan's Mi-Das Line.
The ships were ordered from Taiwan's CSBC Keelung yard by Japanese financial owners and traded under long-term charter to Hanjin Shipping until the company collapsed last year.
