A US appeals court has declined a request by Bunker Holdings that sought to keep $2.4m in Yang Ming assets frozen in a dispute over the collapse of Denmark’s OW Bunker.
A three-judge panel of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, which oversees federal courts in western states, made its decision as part of Bunker Holdings's challenge of a lower-court ruling that rejected that it has a lien that allowed it to seize the Taiwanese liner operator's 5,550-teu containership YM Success (built 2004).
