Tallink has put a loss-making year behind it to spring back to profit on improved sales.

The Estonian ferry operator also had a return of growth in cargo traffic as well as increased passenger volumes to thank for the full-year improvement.

Net profit for the 12 months to the end of September was EUR 8.43m ($11.65m). Although Tallink did not give any comparative figures for previous full year, it is known to have booked a net loss of EUR 8.2bn
