South Korean shipowners are joining forces to restore the country’s shipping reputation nearly a year after Hanjin Shipping’s collapse.
Lead by Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) and with the assistance of the Korea Shipowners Association (KSA), 14 shipping companies will ink a memorandum of understanding (MoU) next Tuesday.
The new shipping consortium will be named Korea Shipping Partnership (KSP), local media report.
