Shreyas Shipping has made good on its promise to add one more vessel to its fleet.
The Indian owner has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for a 1,700-teu boxship.
It will take delivery of the vessel in the third week of March and will deploy it on the Indian coast.
VK Singh, chief executive of Shreyas, said earlier this month the company would look to acquire one second-hand vessel, as the Indian firm saw its profit drop by 88% to INR 27.7m
