India’s Shreyas Shipping & Logistics has expanded its fleet again with boxship number 10.
It said the unnamed 2,500-teu vessel will be delivered towards end of February.
The unit will be deployed along the Indian coast.
Last year, chief executive VK Singh told TradeWinds the owner was looking to add two replacement vessels over the coming months.
It was expected to sell two of its oldest ships — the 570-teu SSL Sagarmala (built 1989) and 1,166-teu SSL Trust (built 1992).
