In a statement MC Seamax Management on Wednesday said the 4,800-teu resale hit the water this year and now trades under the name Seamax Stamford.
While the company failed to shed light on pricing it did note the vessel has been chartered to Maersk Line for three years in a contract that carries a fixed rate.
Seamax is based in Stamford, Connecticut where it oversees six containerships with a combined carrying capacity of more than 45,000 teu.
